    Gay marriage obviously means marriage between two people of the same sex. They want the full marriage with rights granted to those couples of opposite sex. They do not have that right now.

    All of these were beliefs and values of our fore fathers.

    When we say marriage rights, we mean the right to marry someone of your choice, not the government’s choice.

    Our forefathers also believed blacks were 3/5 of a person each and women were too stupid to be involved in political matters. It’s called progress, it’s called evolution of thought, development of tolerance, whatever you want to call it.

    The founding fathers were merely the political leaders of their time. Do you really think countries in 200 years should be ignoring the cultural and geo-political realities of their time and rejecting any concepts that were not the “beliefs and values” of Obama and Bush?
